AIBMS have launched a new Forgotten Password feature on Insight to assist users. Follow our simple Step by Step Guide on using this feature.
Step by Step Guide
- To use the Forgotten Password feature simply click on the “Forgotten Password” link on the Insight homepage.
- You will be asked to provide your Insight Username, the email address associated with the username and the presented Captcha. Please remember your username is prefixed with “AIBMS-“. If you do not know your username or associated email, or are presented with an error when you have submitted them, please contact our Merchant Support Centre for assistance.
- You will receive an email to the associated email address with further instructions on resetting your password.
- The email will redirect you to create your new Insight password. Please note you will need your Application Password or the answer to your Secret Question to complete the process. If you do not know your Application Password or the answer to your Secret Question please contact our Merchant Support Centre. Please also refer to the section in this document relating to setting your Secret Question.
- Once you have successfully changed your Insight password you will receive a confirmation email and be redirected to the Insight homepage to login with your username and new password.
Did You Know?
- If you have locked your account you can use the Forgotten Password feature to reset your password.
- Your Insight password is valid for 60 days, after this time you will be prompted to set a new password when you log in to Insight.
To assist you with the Forgotten Password feature AIBMS have also created an area within Insight that allows you to replace the traditional Application Password with a more memorable Secret Question.
Step by Step Guide
- Login to Insight and visit the My Profile area.
- In My Profile you can update your personal contact information for Insight. To set a new Secret Question simply select the box indicating you want to change your secret question. Once you have populated your answer select submit. Your new Secret Question will now be presented to you during the Forgotten Password process.
